Conflicts and Peace

Since its creation in 1948, Israel has had a violent 60 years; including several international wars and terrorist hostility.
In the 60 years since its creation, Israel has traveled a rough road to dominance in the Middle East.
Israels position in the Middle East is still uncertain due to the activity of anti-Israel terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as the reluctance of various nations to negotiate conclusive peace treaties.
It is currently unclear whether the “Arab Spring” (rise of democratic governments in the Middle East) will have any bearing on Israel’s current status.
The road to peace for Israel is far from over.
